Flowers a plenty............

Hi there,

I am back again with another altered item. This time it a MDF heart.

Loving the flowers.

The flowers on this heart have been made using the following dies, Bitty Blossoms by Spellbinder and Tattered Florals by Tim Holtz. All have been cut on Cream card by Anna marie Designs and inked up with Victorian Velvet and Tattered Rose distress inks.  Then they were spritzed with Perfect pearl spray and left to dry. The foliage around the flowers are Meadow leaf by Memory Box and Martha Stewart Branch punch.

Close up of the Flowers, you can just see the shimmer.

The MDF heart has been painted with Distress Paint Antique Linen, Then Edged with Tattered Rose and Victorian Velvet Distress inks. I then took the Crackle stamp by Indigo Blu and stamped around the edges in Victorian Velvet Distress ink. Gave it a quick blast with the heat gun to dry the ink.

Using the stamp set "Wild Meadow" by Indigo Blu I stamped the Dandelion three times, using the second generation technique and Coffee Archival ink. The saying comes from another Indigo Blu stamp set called "Enjoy Life" and this has been stamped in Versamark and heat embossed using Pepper Wow embossing powder.

The metal embellishments have been painted with distress paints and gilded using Crafty Notions Gilding wax in gold.

Happy Crafting

Barbara
